Abeer is multi-faceted creative with a Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences with a focus on Neuroaesthetics, the interdisciplinary study of beauty, art, and art history from a visual neuroscience perspective. Abeer is a creative writer, photographer and an artist.

On applied arts, having travelled around the world to remote areas during her early professional career, Abeer was inspired during her art journey of psychograms and travelogues to produce art on canvas utilizing the available magical natural materials of stones and Earth. In addition, she also produced a series of photos using expired analogue infrared films from the 60s.

In the field of neuroaesthetics, Abeer mostly specializes in writing about comparative pan-cultural timeless art. Some examples of her work are her research on the clear resemblance between Rijal Alma’a Mural Art and Mondrian Art, which are to be associated for two main reasons. They both apply the same long process that leads to geometrical abstraction by simplifying the pattern and suppresses the details. By doing so, both Qatt & Mondrian Art create abstract patterns. In addition, another example Abeer experimented is a study on the pan-cultural penmanship and symbolism between Ibn Muqla and Leondardo Da Vinci.

Abeer is also a strong believer in the importance of embracing art, culture and creativity as means/platform to achieve sustainable, long-lasting impact in any project – as evidenced by successes in solving complex challenges. Additionally Abeer uses art as a platform to preserve emotions, values and species that are on the brink of extinction.
